Based on the research and study carried out by the Canadian Simon Fraser University, there are various factors that affect reaction times.
Age is considered the most important element: after the age of 24, when the peak of motor and cognitive activity is observed on average, at the peak of the performative level, there is a slow decline in response times.
How can we still be competitive beyond this age? The answer is mainly linked to two factors: experience, which compensates for part of the motor gap, and the conscious intake of energy drinks.
